We follow the process below for retained searches - which is your quality check - and how we monitor the success and efficiency of the search.

- step 9 Present shortlisted candidates to client, search notes and market review*
- step 10 Confirm first interviews
- step 11 First interviews, prepare candidates
- step 12 First interviews, review profiles and prepare client
- step 13 Debrief candidates
- step 14 Debrief client
- step 15 Arrange 2nd/further/final interviews
- step 16 Reference check preferred candidate(s)
- step 17 Second/final interview, prepare candidate(s)
- step 18 Second/final interview, prepare client
- step 19 Confirm second/final interview with client and candidate(s)
- step 20 Qualify search so far, review status and results with client
- step 21 Debrief candidate(s) after second/further interviews
- step 22 Debrief client after second/further interviews

- step 24 Confirm Offer/Acceptance/Start date
- step 25 Resignation preparation
- step 26 Resignation Debrief
- step 27 Billing preparation, confirm invoice details and payment terms
- step 28 Stay in touch with candidate and client during resignation period
- step 29 Contact unsuccessful candidates to thank them on behalf of client for their interest
- step 30 Confirm that candidate has started, follow up, and develop client relationship
* For Step 9, the market review can be more detailed on a retained search according to the interest of the client (i.e. salary and competitor information) and the shortlist will be an agreed number.
